One of the high-achieving students admitted to the BEU–INHA Dual Diploma Program (DDP), jointly implemented by Baku Engineering University (BEU) and INHA University of South Korea, for the 2026/2027 academic year is Kenan Balakishiyev. He was admitted to the Data Analytics / Data Science program with a score of 655.9 points.

A graduate of the Sumgayit Natural Sciences Specialized Gymnasium, Kenan completed both the 9th and 11th grades with distinction certificates. His strong academic performance throughout his school years played an important role in developing his interest in data and technology.

Speaking about his choice of Data Analytics, Kenan considers the continuous development of the field through emerging technologies to be one of its main advantages:

“Data Analytics is constantly evolving thanks to new technologies that emerge over time. Therefore, I believe that someone who chooses this field will not become bored with their profession. Moreover, after gaining in-depth knowledge in this field, there are opportunities to transition into data engineering and other important areas related to data.”

Regarding his decision to choose the BEU–INHA DDP, Kenan highlights the academic and international opportunities provided by the program:

“The main reason I chose the BEU–INHA DDP is the opportunity to gain extensive knowledge in the field of data by studying for three years at BEU and one year at INHA University in South Korea. This will allow me to specialize in the field while also benefiting from the opportunities offered by the Dual Diploma Program.”

In the future, Kenan aims to apply the knowledge and international experience he gains through the BEU–INHA DDP to his professional development in the data field and become a specialist capable of keeping pace with modern technologies.
