Professor Junhyeong Lee from the Department of Civil Engineering at INHA University, Republic of Korea, delivered lectures at Baku Engineering University (BEU) as part of the Summer School program. During the program, Professor Lee taught Hydrology to students.
Professor Junhyeong Lee stated that his lectures would focus on Stream Measurement. He emphasized that this topic is particularly important for water resources management and flood prevention. The professor noted that measuring and calculating streamflow can sometimes be challenging; however, through these lectures, students will learn to estimate streamflow using various methods, including the Slope-Area Method.
Professor Lee also highlighted that the Hydrology course is essential not only for students’ success in the field of engineering but also for their development as future researchers.
