Dual Degree Program Students Will Have Opportunities to Work for Global Companies

2023

Associate Professor Yeongkyo Seo from the Department of Information Technology at INHA University, Republic of Korea, shared his views on the fully state-funded Dual Degree Program (DDP) jointly implemented by Baku Engineering University (BEU) and INHA University.

Speaking about the advantages of the program, the Korean professor emphasized that DDP students will have opportunities to pursue careers at global companies:

“You study for three years in Baku at BEU, and then spend one year in Korea to take original and more advanced courses. My goal in the DDP is to teach digital system design at both the academic and industrial levels. If you learn well here, you can become a very good engineer specializing in digital system design and have better opportunities to work for global companies such as Samsung, SK hynix, and Apple.”

Referring to the three-week Summer School conducted by INHA University faculty at BEU, Associate Professor Seo noted that the course he teaches focuses on the fundamentals of digital system design, including an in-depth explanation of logic design:

“Here, you learn the fundamentals of this course over three years, and if you go to Korea for the final year as part of the program, you will receive more advanced lectures there.”
