BEU-INHA DDP students achieved outstanding results at the world final of the “International World Innovative Student Exhibition” (IWISE), an international innovation competition held in London, United Kingdom, securing first place in two categories.
Tahirah Baylarova and Ulkar Rahimli, fourth-year students majoring in Electronics Engineering under the dual degree program jointly implemented by BEU and INHA University, successfully represented the program at the competition.
Tahirah Baylarova took first place in the “Maze” category, completing the challenge in 4.11 seconds in a competition featuring 18 teams.
Ulkar Rahimli also achieved first place in the “Robosoccer” category, competing against 14 teams.
Students from a total of 25 countries participated in the world final. The participation of the Azerbaijani delegation in the IWISE competition was supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The achievements of the BEU-INHA DDP students demonstrate their ability to successfully combine theoretical knowledge in engineering, robotics, and innovative technologies with practical skills. Such success at an international innovation and robotics competition also reflects the attention given to modern engineering education, innovative thinking, and the development of student projects at the university.
It should be noted that IWISE is an international platform where young people demonstrate their knowledge and skills in science, technology, engineering, robotics, and innovation. The competition consists of several stages, providing participants with an opportunity to showcase their knowledge and skills at the international level and compete with young innovators from different countries.
